Welcome to the heart of healing where we do therapy a little differently.
Our approach supports going deeper, to trust the intelligence that lies within.
Nicole is a compassionate counsellor and psychotherapist specialising in Somatic Experiencing®, a gentle body-based approach to healing trauma, stress and nervous system dysregualtion.
Drawing on trauma neurobiology, attachment theory, behaviour, and the nervous system, she provides individual therapy that integrates talk therapy and somatic techniques.
Nicole helps her clients feel safe and supported by building meaningful connection. In her relational approach, she encourages clients to stay curious and explore deeply. This openness creates more room for expansion, growth and change.
Our practice honours the wisdom you carry inside.

FAQs
-
People can come to therapy to address a specific issue such as chronic stress, adjusting to life after a traumatic event, recovery from illness, relationship issues, grief or loss.
You could be experiencing: anxiety, hyper vigilance, panic attacks, burn out, chronic pain, persistent sadness, worry, shame, guilt or anger.
Other people may have grown up in an unsafe environment, not had their developmental needs met, experience self- sabotaging behaviours or limiting belief systems that they can’t quite seem to fully understand or get on top of.
People can also come to therapy to understand themselves a little better or simply get some help during challenging times.

Our sessions involve a combination of traditional talk therapy and body oriented therapeutic approaches.
Somatic psychotherapy, also known as body-oriented therapy, is all about the connection between your emotions, your experiences, and your body.
This approach supports you to become more aware of your bodily responses, bringing you into a deeper connection with yourself. With this awareness we are encouraged to improve our well-being, relationships and emotional and mental health.
Sessions are tailored to your circumstances, at a pace and style that best supports you.
